D. K. Lawhorn is an enrolled member of the Monacan Indian Nation and still living on his ancestral land in central Virginia. He focused on Native spec-fic in his MFA in Creative Writing at Randolph College in Lynchburg, VA, which he completed in January of 2023.
He is also an avid collector of cats. Any and all typos should be blamed on them. Specifically the small calico.
